How it works
Ammonium Chloride is used as an expectorant in productive cough. Potassium guaiacolsulfonate is an expectorant. It works by thinning mucus (phlegm) in the lungs, making it less sticky and easier to cough up. Senega is used for swelling (inflammation) of the throat, nose, and chest; for lung conditions including asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema; and for rattlesnake bite. It acts as a counter- irritant by imparting a cooling effect and by initially stimulating nociceptors and then desensitizing them. Terpin hydrate an expectorant, used to loosen mucus in patients with bronchitis and related conditions. Chlorpheniramine is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms. Ephiderine inhibits norepinephrine reuptake and increases the release of norepinephrine from vesicles in nerve cells.
